They May Be Dead But They’re Beautiful
In the wintertime I am not always motivated to go out in the cold and photograph landscapes. I try to find the extraordinary in the beauty of the ordinary. Today I perused the leftovers of my garden and took some cuttings of Rose of Sharon seedpods and Hydrangea long gone by.
What are your thoughts? Do you see the beauty in them as I do? I would love to hear what you think!

They are beautiful Liz…have you heard Kim talk about Wabi Sabi…a Chinese term that means…sort of old, failing but still has so much beauty…It applies to everything…so these may be a bit wabi sabi but they still carry beauty….I commend you for even getting out there…this cold does not inspire me…hopefully soon…that’s why I’m liking Be Still…

I haven’t heard her use that yet. But I think I am going to really love the Be Still course. It really is getting my creative juices flowing not only in terms of props and how to stage them but also the post processing. This is the little boost I needed. I felt things were getting stale and my enthusiasm waning a little!
