Our Word View – Word of the Week = YARD
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
How would you like this for a house and YARD? This beautiful home is located in Falmouth on Cape Cod. The back yard, behind what you see, is wide-open ocean. The front of the house actually faces a small, protected harbor. I believe this is Sippewissett Harbor although I won’t swear to it. Falmouth has so many Harbors it’s hard for someone who isn’t from that Town to know. Regardless this home is striking and the YARD is equally so! Wouldn’t you love to romp through the grass down to the Harbor or head in the other direction to your own beach with wide-open ocean there?
I wouldn’t refuse it, that’s for sure!
I’ll bet the inside is gorgeous too.

I would hate to pay the heating bill though, so close to the ocean!

Very impressive. Is the building on the far left another house or shed/barn for this property?
PS Your last paragraph is duplicated.

Yes the house on the left is a barn with an apartment over it. As if the main house was not large enough! 🙂
Thanks you re: the extra paragraph! Removed it! 🙂
