Boston In The Winter

Faneuil Hall Marketplace

I love going to Boston. There is something magical about the city. From our house on Cape Cod, Boston is about an hours drive. During the week it can take considerably longer. So to visit Boston is not something that we do all the time. It’s great for Hubby and I to spend a night or two when head up for a visit. I’m sure most people don’t consider going into the city in winter desirable. But Boston near Christmas (before and after) is absolutely magical. It vibrates with energy and excitement. So long as you dress appropriately even on the coldest of winter days it can be fun. I actually prefer going in the off season. There are far less people and you don’t have to fight your way into any place you visit. If you’re considering visiting Boston don’t just limit your time to the warm weather. There is plenty to see and do even in the off season!
