Maine Get Away

I am one of those people who loves snow. If it’s winter then I want to be buried in it. The more the merrier. I love the beauty of it. At the same time I don’t mind the cold to a point. I find 25 degrees (fahrenheit) or higher is acceptable so long as you are dressed properly. Below that it starts to get uncomfortable even if you are bundled up.

This past week Hubby and I, my brother and sister-in-law escaped for five days to Rangeley Maine. This was the second year we rented the same house right on the lake. While they all snowmobiled I read, napped, played word games and did puzzles. It was so relaxing and restorative. Just what I needed.

Our next big trip is in April when we take two weeks to Key West. We’ll be with a group of friends and we’re driving down in our travel trailers and bringing our motorcycles! It will be a fun but busy trip. By April I will be craving the sun!
