A Day on Lake Kezar Maine (Part One)
It’s been a very busy summer and I really haven’t had time to blog on a regular basis. Work, play and life in general have gotten in the way. But I haven’t forgotten about my blog just been prioritizing.
One of the great things Hubby and I did this summer was to cruise around Lake Kezar in Maine on a pontoon boat. We spent the day with our daughter Allison, her husband Chris and our two grandchildren. We were also with the Kelleher family, Dan, Kerry, Danny and Sean who are always guaranteed to be a lot of fun!
The day started off warm but a little overcast. However as the hours passed the clouds cleared and the temps rose. We cruised along as Captain Mike manned the wheel. At times we pulled near to shore so the kids could drop their rods and do some fishing amongst the rocks. We also just cruised along, ate and drank. At one point we pulled the boat up to a beach so the kids could jump off the docks and do some swimming. Later we all took turns jumping off the boat in the middle of the lake and just floating. All in all it was a perfect day. We hope to do it again next year.
The day ended with all of us having dinner together and then heading back to the cabin in Denmark.
