A Cold and Bitter Walk on a Cape Cod Beach
There is a decided difference in the colors of the sky, beach and ocean on Cape Cod in late fall or early winter. It is not that same inviting feeling you get on the hot, humid days of summer. The wind is biting cold and the sky not so inviting. It often bodes of a potential storm with its blue, gray color and ominous clouds. Sand pelts your face as you walk along the shore. And although it’s only November you need to be wrapped with hat, gloves and scarf to endure a good long walk. But although it’s not the welcoming landscape of summer there are always people and their dogs brave enough to endure the cold to enjoy the invigorating air.
