Today I Turn 55!

FN5A0122Today is my 55th birthday, which we celebrated yesterday. It could not have been a more perfect day. I spent time with my hubby, son, daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren.FN5A0125Hubby made dinner and the girls decorated a gingerbread house my daughter Allison had bought them. At one point my son gave a little assistance to the girls.FN5A0132

FN5A0144At the same time my daughter and I put up the Christmas tree and decorated it. We all know it’s so much more fun when someone helps you. And any other empty nesters know that it is difficult to get motivated to put up a full tree once the kids fly the coop. But grandchildren are a good motivator and when you have a helper it’s even better.FN5A0156
