Queen Anne’s Lace

This year a beautiful wildflower suddenly appeared in my garden. When I first saw it emerging from the ground my initial reaction was to pull it thinking it was an unwanted weed. Upon second thought I decided to let it grow and see what it would reveal. I am so thrilled I left it alone. A lovely four foot tall white wildflower plant with multiple buds emerged and I love it. Where it came from I couldn’t tell you. I’m sure the seeds blew in from a field, another garden or were dropped by a bird. And I’m so glad they were. I’m loving this new addition to my garden and hope that several more pop up over the next couple of seasons.
