An Acquired Taste

Hubby and I rescued Virgil our Pug several years ago. It was on a total whim and we knew nothing about Pugs. But poor Virgil was in such a sad state and so pathetic looking that we couldn’t just let him be. The poor fella was covered in excema and scabs caused by anxiety. He was so thin and dirty. His nails were ridiculously long and looked like they hadn’t been trimmed in years. We felt compelled to bring him home! Although he’s older and slower now he is much happier. We have learned a lot about Pugs since bringing Virgil home. And while these dogs may not appeal to everyone a sweeter dog you couldn’t meet!
