A Calming Effect

Red Finch
This past week has been very stressful and filled with things I hate to do! Monday night I prepared hubby’s tax returns and mine. I know, I know it was last minute but why should I rush to give my money away. 🙂 Tuesday night more of the same as I prepared my Mother’s tax return. The attorney instructed that I had to file for my Mom this year and next. Next on to Wednesday and an eye appointment. Are you aware how expensive new glasses are? Thursday off to the dentist for a cleaning. Doesn’t sound like fun but our family does have the world’s best dentist, Richard Sadowsky! All and all it was a week just packed with fun! Do you detect my sarcasm? I did have one highlight when we had dinner with my granddaughter Morgan. I can never have enough time with her. And one other thing that always put’s a smile on my face and helps me to relax is watching the birds at the feeder. And here are some of my little visitors this week.

Wow, you had some mundane tasks to take care of this week. Funny, how they always seem to pile up. Well, at least they are all behind you, now. What sweet photographs of your little visitors.

Oh my I am so glad we have out taxes done…no more stress with that…
Your birds are lovely though…we had to give up our feeders because of the hawks..now my neighbor has feeders up and the hawks are back…Poor Gracie (6 pounds) she has lost her freedom and the birds, well the Hawks know where they are…enjoy yours but keep an eye on trees in the area…

Wow Cheryl I never even gave that a thought! We back up to nothing but miles and miles of woods. The sky is full of hawks. So far I have not seen them come down for the small birds. I wonder if it’s because the feeder is right against the house. At any rate I’ll have to keep my eyes open!

Thank Elizabeth, it’s quite a change. Trying to adjust to not having quite the same amount of time for art as I did. But it’s a good adjustment and maybe there will be some travel ~ have a great weekend.
