A Blizzard Falls on Brewster Gardens
You have to admit that when the snow is falling and you don’t have to drive anywhere that it’s absolutely beautiful.
These photos were taken the night of Valentine’s 2015. We had another blizzard moving in.
We were leaving the Jenny Grist Mill in Plymouth Massachusetts and I just had to snap some photos.
It was just like a scene out of a Norman Rockwell painting. So absolutely magical.
There were no cars in sight and the area was absolutely quiet.
The photo below and the first one are my favorites. They were taken of Brewster Gardens and I just think they are perfect.
It is indeed pretty, and I absolutely LOVE the second image here, Liz.

Wow Elizabeth these photographs are beautiful, the last is my favorite. Did you use a particular lens or lighting? There seems to be a sepia cast that I really like.

I used my iphone. Because it was night it had a lot of noise in the image. Then I added a preset. This one is my favorite too!

Your photos here are wonderful, Elizabeth. I really like the second one of the snow-covered mill. Mills are no longer a common site, and to see one draped in snow is special. But brrrr. 😀

Thank you. We are fortunate to have several old mills in the area. I just happen to be lucky to be at this one during the storm. The way it was lit up it was gorgeous!

Wonderful shots. Yes, blizzard photos can be beautiful, especially when I’m not in it. You’ve had a tough winter, weather-wise.

I love the snow having grown up in Canada but even this winter is getting to be too much for me. With two more snow storms forecasted for this week it doesn’t look like it’s going to end any time soon!
