Study in Food Still Life
I’m still enjoying this new to me venue of photography. I love how still life makes me stretch my imagination to come up with different combinations of items to photograph. In this instance however it unfolded unnaturally. I happen to have this group of tomatoes on my kitchen counter when the sun started to shift its position through my window. I love the sharp shadow that it created of the tomatoes and windowpanes as well.ย What do you think?

A strong image with wonderful contrast of the shadows, light and the solo colour of the red tomatoes.

I love the deep shadows in this photograph, Elizabeth. It gives the image a graphic quality, and the contrast with the red tomatoes is great. Oh, and the tomatoes look yummy! I love tomatoes… ๐

Thank you. I love how this really evolved without my help. It was all mother nature letting her light shine through! ๐
