BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. Mom and I went to lunch several weeks ago. I took this photo of her then enjoying a refreshing peach concoction!

This was such an easy choice for me this week. Yesterday we celebrated my mother Dot’s 88th birthday. I am in utter “AWE” of this woman. She is still going strong. She lives in her own apartment, does her own cooking, cleaning, laundry, and driving and still is an avid gardener. Aside from the occasional memory lapse she is like the energizer bunny! My mother is probably the most intelligent woman I have ever met. She knows a world of information and keeps totally informed of all things that are current. She is the mother of six, has countless grandchildren and I can’t even begin to count the great-grandchildren. “AWE” is a perfect way to describe how I feel about her! Happy Birthday Mom, I love you!
