Boston Swan Boats

“Boston Public Gardens”

If you visit Boston a must see is the “Boston Public Gardens”. Not to be confused with “Boston Commons” which is just across one main road. And in the garden you must visit the beautiful swan boats. They are out and about during the spring, summer and fall. The boats don’t move fast. In fact there is someone sitting in the swans and actually propelling the boats by pedaling. Yes they are paddleboats propelled by one person. Surrounding the pond are large, wispy Weeping Willow trees. On one end of the pond is a pretty island many times full of ducks, swans and all forms of birds. This is a photographers dream. I must also mention the gardens themselves. With each changing season the combination of plants are amazing and never disappoint!
