A Full Belly Laugh

I have been chronicling both my granddaughters’ development over the past year and a half. It always strikes me how quickly they change when I notice a new and sometimes small milestone. I witnessed a new one last weekend. My husband was showing Emma a video. One that she just thought was hysterical. What I witnessed was not a smile or laugh but the first time I have seen her give an ongoing knee-slapping, belly laugh. As you can see by the photos it was not a quick chuckle but she just went on and on. Everyone was so caught by her laugh and joy that it became contagious. And so a new milestone… the belly laugh!
