Our Word View – Word of the Week = PENSIVE
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
My granddaughter Morgan tends to appear to be a very serious and PENSIVE little girl. That is until her cousin Emma shows up. Then the two of them are thick as thieves and very attached to it. I love to watch the two of them together. They are so very attached. Their parents and we try to get them together as often as possible. We know how important it is for the two of them to develop a bond at a very young age. Well it’s obvious that they already have. Morgan the generally PENSIVE little girl just opens up and becomes a fun loving little tike when Emma is around.

There is just something special with girl cousins. I too experienced such a richness of bonding with my cousins…we could do no wrong together. They are very lucky to have each other.

My daughter is as close as sisters with two of her cousins. It’s a great bond if you don’t have sisters!

Oh Liz! What a wonderful series of images. I love how Emma brings out the less serious side of Morgan. They are both so beautiful. I can not believe how fast they are growing. Great post.
