Our Word View – Word of the Week = OUTSTANDING
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
This past week while vacationing in Maine we had some very warm days. Although the ground was still covered in snow we managed to do some hiking. I so wanted to take my brother and sister-in-law to the top of the Jockey Cap for some of the most OUTSTANDING views around of Maine and New Hampshire. While everyone else was in doubt that we could do it with so much snow on the ground I had confidence we could. So off we set to climb this massive rock called the Jockey Cap. And guess what although we’re all over 50 we managed to do it. There were spots where the snow was easily two to three feet deep but we plodded on and were rewarded with the most magnificent views! Now tell me mother nature is not OUTSTANDING when at her best!
