Our Word View – Word of the Week =LIQUESCENT
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
Have you ever heard of this word before? LIQUESCENT? Well I can tell you I haven’t and had to look the definition up. LIQUESCENT means becoming liquid, melting. I searched my photos for a very appropriate topic of the moment, melting snow. Of course I have tons of snow pictures but none of it melting. So when I happen to pass over this photo of a candle as it melted I thought nothing could be more perfect!
BE SURE TO VISIT HTTP://OURWORDVIEW.BLOGSPOT.COM/ TO SEE BARB’S INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD OF THE WEEK!
I have heard this word before, and what a perfect photo you chose for the prompt.
Much needed too today, when the first day of spring has proven to be oh so cold. 😦
Have a great evening, Liz.
