Our Word View – Word of the Week = KEEN
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
Hubby and I had such a wonderful day yesterday. After living on Cape Cod for 25 years we went to the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Yarmouth for the first time. We met a group of friends at a certain location and watched the floats, kids, bands and more go by. I was shocked at how big it was. Apparently many of the bands etc. that participate in the St. Paddy’s Day parade in Yarmouth then go onto participate in the parade in South Boston a week or so later. What a fun, fun, family time. We had an absolute blast. It doesn’t hurt that we were with a group of people who are KEEN and enthusiastic. They made the entire day that much more fun. I can’t tell you how disappointed and sad I was to see the day come to end. I am mainly Irish and when I say it was great to see the Irish community come together just to have a friendly day of harmless fun well that is exactly what it was.

St. Patrick’s Day is quite something – as are the Irish (meant positively). You captured the spirit of the day very nicely in these pictures. Awesome photos, Elizabeth.
