Our Word View – Word of the Week = JADED
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
JADED |ˈjādid|adjective tired, bored, or lacking enthusiasm.
Last fall we visited the Fryeburg Fair in Fryeburg Maine. This is a large country fair and as such there a lot of barns full of various types of farm animals. One of the barns was full of cows. As we stood there the two of them would turn around and look at us with a totally JADED attitude. You could tell they were tired and bored with all of the people traipsing by to glance at them. We did not spark any enthusiasm in them at all.
