Our Word View – Word of the Week = TIME
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
What could be a more appropriate choice for the word “TIME” than a photo of the Mayflower, which carried the Pilgrims to our country in the early 1600s moored next to modern day motorboats? This photo shows the advances that have been made in technology over the past 400 years. Imagine that the Pilgrims traversed the Atlantic Ocean in this ship, which really is not that large at all! Mankind really has come a long way over “’TIME”.
Yes, just what Lisa said!! And I love the contrasts between old and new!

Great capture of the Mayflower. It is amazing how much we have learned over time.
