Our Word View – Word of the Week = LIGHT
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
These photos were taken last weekend. Me, my Hubby and our two friends went on a dinner cruise out of Falmouth Harbor. As part of the cruise they took us across to Martha’s Vineyard and specifically Vineyard Haven. Of course you can’t go to the Vineyard and not see a share of yachts. They were all lit up and one was more magnificent than the other. These top photos are of one particular yacht that was glowing like a Christmas tree. The lights were bright and just shone on the entire harbor.
As we left the harbor one of the ferries from Woods Hole was coming into Vineyard Haven. And the lights were glowing out of the portholes.
