Our Word View – Word of the Week = COASTAL
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
I picked this week’s word COASTAL. This was such an easy choice for me living on Cape Cod and near to the shore. However there are areas beyond the Cape in Massachusetts where the coast is as equally beautiful. One of those areas is just North of the Sagamore Bridge and just below Plymouth. The beach area is perfect and there is not a rock to be seen as far as you can see. It is such a lovely place. My niece and her husband from Dubai rented a home there for the past month. It gave me the opportunity to walk an area I have not really explored in depth before. I knew the area was pretty but until you get out and walk the neighborhoods you really can’t fully appreciate how scenic the houses as well as the beach are. And so this is my pick for the Word of the Week, COASTAL.
