Our Word View – Word of the Week = ZEN
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
Many people may look at this photo with all the vivid color and think, “What is so Zen about that?” Well if you’re from New England you would understand. While everyone likes summer the best time in New England is fall. People who live here will agree when I say that the autumn even has a different sound. It’s quiet. It’s calm. There is a peace that settles in after the energy and activity of the summer. It’s almost as if Mother Nature herself is recovering from all the frenetic business that has just gone by! For me the fall is ZEN. I love, love, love walking in the woods and hearing that perfect quietness. There is such a magnificent calm. It is the most perfect time of year!
