Our Word View – Word of the Week = WEATHERED
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
This weekend I am in Denmark, Maine with my husband, mother-in-law, son, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. We are staying at my son-in-law’s families place! I can’t begin to tell you how relaxing it is up here. Such a different area than where we live on Cape Cod. Here we are surrounded my mountains. There the ocean surrounds us. Both have their merits.
The house we stay in has 11 bedrooms, four bathrooms, a commercial kitchen, dining room that will seat 20, media room to die for, set on 5 acres of land with mountain, woods and a fishing pond for a view! Who could complain about that? We have slept past 9 am each morning and napped in the afternoon, walked, fished and just plain relaxed! The dogs roam free with no fear of a leash in site! Such a wonderful treat this place is.
On the property is this wonderful shed, garage or barn. Whatever you choose to call it. The shed is completely “WEATHERED”. It adds to the ambiance of the property. Well must run to get outside to the fire pit and roasting some marshmallows!
