Our Word View – Word of the Week = TRADITION
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
One TRADITION I follow while in the North End of Boston is to partake of the phenomenal pastries. They are unequaled. This sampling is from “Mike’s Pastries” and their famous Cannoli’s!
It is ten o’clock at night and I opened up your post to this culinary delight…sigh. My stomach just did a flip…Yes,I am still pouting even after two years….that we couldn’t get into this wonderful bakery!!

Next time you’re in Town if you can’t get into Mike’s Pastries go to Modern Pastry. Just as good and a smaller but cozier atmosphere!

There is nothing quite like a Mike’s cannoli!
I don’t think there’s ever been one time when I was in the North End, that I did not indulge at Mike’s.
