Bridgton’s Wooden Covered Bridge
While my daughter and I were driving around Bridgton Maine we spotted this beautiful wooden covered bridge off in the distance. We pulled down a side street and parked the car. This little beauty is apparently just over a year old. The craftsmanship was stunning. The inside of the bridge bows out like a boat. The illusion it creates is magnificent. The timbers above are planed perfectly. Just before you enter the bridge there is a beautiful wrought iron spiral staircase, which leads down to a number of trails, which run alongside the river for hiking purposes. A beautiful landmark and one that lends credence to the Town’s name.
What a beautiful little bridge ! I love your second photo and how you processed it, it’s really beautiful !
