Our Word View – Word of the Week = GRADUAL
SUNDAY POSTING ~ A COLLABORATIVE BLOG BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS (ME AND MY FRIEND BARB) WHO’S PATHS WERE SEPARATED FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAVE FOUND ONE ANOTHER ONCE AGAIN ONLINE. BOTH SHARE A LOVE OF THE OCEAN, NATURE, FAMILY, PETS AND OF COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY! A FONDNESS FOR INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS HAS SPARKED THIS PROJECT. EACH SUNDAY WE WILL POST THE “WORD OF THE WEEK” AND OUR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD VIA TWO SEPARATE PHOTOS ON OUR BLOG “OUR WORD VIEW”!
It all began gradually. First I bought one hardcover book, then another, and then yet another. And so it has gone over the years until they fill my kitchen and living room. Now I am chock full. I love my books. I love to flip through them and I do use a lot of them regularly for cooking and gardening purposes. But others are purely fluff. I gaze through them and imagine. Imagination is a wonderful thing and should always be stoked. On the bottom shelves are my hubby’s paperbacks. They cannot mix with my hardcovers! They just are not of the same standard. I’m kidding of course. Well kind of. I appreciate the look of a beautiful and good-looking hard cover. To me they are just as beautiful as any other decorative item. And so it began gradually as did my other collections. I will one day show you those too.

Some of my cookbooks. I can’t fit them all in the kitchen anymore.
