Themeless Thursday – Cape Cod Greetings – 7/18/12

One thing I love about Cape Cod is the care people take in the small things that say “Welcome” to my home or business. The above picture was taken at the “The Brown Jug” which is a specialty food/wine store with cafe in Sandwich on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Who would have thought this was the entrance to a business. Just look at the glorious gardens.
Above is one of several window boxes gracing the Dunbar Tea Shop also located in Sandwich. The planter below sits right outside the front door along with a bench that you can rest on while waiting for your car to be brought around.

This is on the other side of the Dunbar Tea Shop’s front door. Little flags dress everything.
The following two pictures were taken at the Cotuit Fresh Market in Cotuit on Cape Cod. Also referred to as the Cotuit General Store or Cotuit Grocery. Flowers and flags what could be more welcoming, patriotic or say summer better! So pretty and vibrant. Lori Pimental one of the owners of the store has always been known for her attention to detail.
If you visit Cape Cod you will see evidence of this welcoming style everywhere you look. So rustic and yet one of the many reasons I love living here!
