Boston’s North End

MIKE’S PASTRY WORLD FAMOUS CANNOLI

There is a phenomenal part of Boston called the “North End”. More than 41% of the resident population is Italian-American. As such a large section of the North End is full of the world’s best Italian Restaurants and Pastry shops. The area is a great place to go on a hot summer day or night and just walk around, sit in an outside café to eat or drink. You will hear Italian spoken a lot as it remains a prominent language in the North End today. Religion still plays a very important part of the daily life and there are many religious feasts and processions to celebrate Saints and holidays. The North End is full of many areas of historical interest; Old North Church, Paul Revere House, the USS Constitution, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Birthplace and memorial garden are just a few. The North End is just a short hop from Faneuil Hall and a lovely afternoon walk if you’re ever in town.
