Plymouth Massachusetts gets Chronicled

For those of you who live in Massachusetts did you see the television program “Chronicle” on Monday night? They highlighted Plymouth MA.

I know I have posted many pictures of Plymouth before but as they pointed out on Chronicle Plymouth truly is a hidden gem. With a beach that rivals the National Seashore on Cape Cod “Long Beach” a spit of land that projects out into the Bay is gorgeous.

The downtown has seen a resurgence with new stores and restaurants. Then of course there is all of the natural beauty and history. As the TV show pointed out many people fly right by Plymouth on their way to Cape Cod. They just don’t realize how pretty it is.

It is an ideal Town to park your car on the waterfront, get out and walk the mile round loop. Walk down along the water, up to Main Street to the shops and restaurants, then down to Brewster Garden and back to the water to see the Mayflower and Plymouth Rock!

All in all there really is plenty to keep you occupied in the Town of Plymouth and a wonderful beach to spend the day and frolic in the water.

Venture over to Village Landing a small outside shopping mall and swing across the street to the outside patio at the East Bay Grille or stop in at Cabby Shack Restaurant & Pub.

You can also catch a ride on Captain John Boats and take a Whale Watch or catch a ferry for the day over to Provincetown. It’s about an hour-long ride!

Don’t forget to drive about a mile south on Route 3A and visit Plimoth PlantationPlymouth Plantation.
