OUR WORD VIEW – Word of the Week = GLOW

A collaborative BLOG between two friends (me and my friend Barbara Pagnotti) who’s paths were separated for 20 years and have found one another once again online. Both share a love of the ocean, nature and of course photography! A fondness for inspirational sayings has sparked this project. Each Sunday we will post the “WORD OF THE WEEK” and our individual interpretation of the word via two separate photos on our blog “OUR WORD VIEW”! Join our FLICKR group and add your photo interpretation of the word and join in the discussion! Our Word View – FLICKR Group
3/25/12 Word of the Week = Glow
The timing for this picture couldn’t have been more perfect. This past Friday night my daughter Allison, her husband Chris, my husband Michael and I all went into Boston for dinner. We had an hour to kill before our dinner reservation. It was an absolutely clear and very warm March night. Unbelievably it was in the 70s at 7 pm that evening. That is virtually unheard of in March in Massachusetts! I was walking around in a sleeveless dress with a light sweater! It was perfect weather to take a ton of pictures and that I did. It seemed everyone was out that night celebrating the rare treat of warm air in very early spring. Above is the steeple of the “Old State House” smack dab in downtown Boston. It is completely surrounded by high-rise buildings! When I took this picture the sun had set, it was starting to get dark and the steeple was totally glowing! Thus my choice for “Glow”!
